We run two Book Groups at Book Corner.
The Book Corner Book Group meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7pm in Book Corner, 24 Milton Street, Saltburn. We read a variety of different books, mainly fiction but sometimes non-fiction, too. Recent choices have included Orbital by Samantha Harvey, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, Cold Fish Soup by Adam Farrer, and The Perfect Golden Circle by Benjamin Myers. Tea and coffee is provided, and members are always encouraged to suggest books.
The Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in Rapp’s Cafe, Milton Street, Saltburn. We alternate between Sci-Fi and Fantasy fiction. So far, our choices have included The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K Le Guin, The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler, and Nettle and Bone by T Kingfisher.
